Award in Education and Training (AET) is the first step on your teaching journey. The course looks at the role of a teacher and the responsibilities that a teacher has including the six areas of the teaching cycle.




Certificate in Education and Training (CET) is the next step on your teaching journey after AET. CET takes you through the principles of teaching just like AET but this time you are completing it at a deeper level learning the theory behind the principles of teaching. 

As part of the CET course, you will complete assignments and also 30 hours of teaching practice which is evidenced through observations, planning, documentation and feedback.

This Award in Education and Training course has been developed to aid you with the in house course that you are currently attending. The course has extra information for you to read, watch and listen to complement what you have discussed in class. This is also the place to submit your assignments.

This is the course is for Nouveau trainers who are completing their Assessor training. 

This section of the course is about applying the theory of IQA in your workplace. You will be asked to upload documents to show how you implement the IQA process.

Assess Vocational Skills, Knowledge and Understanding


This is the practical element of the Assessors Award, it list the evidence that is needed to show you can apply the knowledge from Unit one.

The Understanding the principles and practices of assessment course is the theory part of the assessors award. The course takes you through the full process of planning assessments, delivering assessments, documentation in assessment, giving feedback and making assessment decisions. 

This course is for anyone who is wanting to become an assessor for qualifications or in the workplace.
